Is it safe to say that if a person that doesn't have HPV (genital warts) gets involved with someone that does, that they will DEFINITELY aquire the STI as well, EVEN if they practice SAFE sex (using a condom)?
No you cannot say that they will DEFINITELY acquire HPV but its highly likely even if a condom is used.
why?? because condoms do not fully protect against the HPV virus (genital warts). a condom does not fully cover every area of the genitals therefore infected areas will come in contact with your partner during sexual activities.
Here's how it works…There's a chance the person who doesn't have it, could catch it. and then there is the chance they won't catch it. There's no 100% even when you wear a condom. Because you could have no symptoms, know you have it & then sleep with someone & they end up getting it, but they don't develop any symptoms so they don't know they have it. if you are gonna have sex, make sure to be protected. be upfront to your partner.
And if you do have physical signs, just go to the doctor & they can give you something for it.
After, having HPV with no physical symptoms is like being in remission with cancer….You still have it with no effects of it.
Yes because it is just a matter of time until something goes wrong.

I would say that the chances are VERY likely that the HPV virus will be contracted by who ever comes in contact with it and the venereal warts are not always in ONLY places that a condom touches. There is actually a newer throat cancer that is thought to be caused from the HPV virus and is becoming a problem because of unsafe oral sex and the HPV virus.
There is no way of saying that you will definitely get the std. Condoms reduce the chances that you will get the std but it wont eliminate the chances all together.
